What we do

Small organisations deserve a website that looks like the work they do.

Most Australian charities, sports clubs, and community groups still get by on a Facebook page, an ancient SquareSpace trial, or nothing at all. A board member's nephew built the site in 2014, the password is lost, and nobody is sure who pays the renewal.

We design and build a clean, plain-spoken website for your organisation. You own the files and the content. We do not lock anyone in. If you would rather host the site yourselves, we send you the files and that is the end of our involvement. If you would like us to handle the domain and hosting too, that option is set out below.

Who qualifies

Six rules, applied plainly.

  1. Registered charity, incorporated association, sports club, P&C, men's shed, or similar community group.
  2. Based in Australia, serving an Australian community.
  3. Not-for-profit in operation. No commercial trading entities, no sole traders.
  4. Not a political party, candidate, or campaign organisation.
  5. Not a vehicle for religious proselytising. Faith-based community services are welcome.
  6. A real, operating organisation with a committee or board. We do not build sites for ideas alone.

Hosting

Two ways forward. Pick whichever suits.

The build is always free. Once your site is finished, you choose how it gets hosted. Either path is fine with us, and you can change your mind at any time.

Option A

Self-host

The entire process is free. You receive everything at no cost.

The design, the code, and the files. We hand them over and step out of the way. You arrange your own hosting and domain, or work with whomever you prefer. You will never receive an invoice from us.

Option B

We handle it

Standard

$999/ year

We register the domain in your name, host the site, and handle SSL, daily backups, security updates, and renewals. Includes a small allowance for content updates each year.

Premium

$1,499/ year

Includes maintenance hours and unlimited small changes within reason. We do not write content for you, but we will make edits, swap photos, update committee names, and adjust pages whenever you need.

No lock-in. Cancel at any time and we will hand the files back. Thirty days of free bug fixes follow every launch, on either option.

  2. Discovery call

    A 30-minute call. We listen, ask questions, agree on scope.

  3. Build

    We design and build. You review and respond across two rounds.

  4. Launch

    We push the site live. Thirty days of free bug fixes follow.
